OUR ADVICE TO YOU

We were with Thomas from admittance to the Sheffield Northern General Hospital
A.& E. ward 13.00p.m.7/1/06 until he died 10.30a.m.11/1/06 on the Palliative Care Ward of the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONE ALONE ON AN NHS PALLIATIVE CARE WARD. INDEED WITH THE STORIES THAT PEOPLE HAVE CONTACTED US ABOUT, WE WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU DON'T LEAVE LOVED ONES ALONE AT ALL ON ANY NHS HOSPITAL WARD!

Some of the things we witnessed were truly horrific.

See CASE POINTS - NHS Horror 7/1/06 - 11/1/06 to see the 'Roller Coaster Ride' that was Thomas Milner's End of Life Care experience!

Read here a follow up article by David Rose, Timesonline, about public response to the publication of the Patients Association Report, in which Thomas Milner was Case No.6 - 'Hundreds report poor care suffered by NHS patients'

Read here Sarah McMahon of the Telegraph writing about how 'Compassion has been abandoned in favour of an obsession with league tables and targets'.

Suffering has no boudaries, neither should compassion.

GOD HELP US ALL AND SHAME ON THEM!
