Nurse Margaret Haywood, NHS whistleblower who exposed 'vile' nurses in the 2005 BBC Panorama Documentary. Nurse Haywood was struck off by the GNC. The 'vile and uncaring' nurses shown up in the programme are still allowed to work and call themselves 'nurses'!

Three whistleblowing Nurses say NHS Manchester failed to protect them as they should by law.
They were bullied and harassed - and eventually forced to move jobs.
Yet their colleague, who was not qualified to treat adult patients, was allowed to continue working.
The case is the latest example of the NHS failing in its duty to whistleblowers.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED TO ONE NHS DR.WHISTLEBLOWER - IN HER OWN WORDS! LIES AND DECEIT WERE USED TO TRY AND DISCREDIT HER!
Dr. Rita Pal v GMC!
Dr Pal is part of a team which produces NHS Exposed, a campaigning website that aims to "obtain justice and fair treatment for those abused by the NHS".

1. That I suffered from a mental illness
Response. I have never suffered from a mental illness. Never been on antidepressants or had any sort of counselling.

2. That I left for the USA
I have always remained in the UK because I do not believe that whistleblowers should leave their country or their home as Steve Bolsin was forced to.

3. That I was was taken down the health panel of the GMC.

This never happened. The GMC with the assistance of North Staffordshire NHS Trust and Stoke on Trent attempted to discredit me on the strength of a typographical error I made on a letter to them. They also commented on my style of writing. Discreet inquiries were admitted by the GMC and carried out. This was a violation of my human rights but then we know the GMC is a abuser of doctor's rights.

4. That I had an affair with Paul Marsden MP.
Paul has always been a very good friend. I have never had an affair with him. I have never met him. I have never had an affair with a married man and have no intention of doing so.

5. That I have an axe to grind.
There is no axe to grind. I simply believe in a high standard of patient care. Patients recieve a third world service from a first world NHS.

6. That I am struck off the GMC Register
There was never any finding against me. I have never been through to any hearing at the GMC. I have not been struck off the GMC Register for professional misconduct. Finally, none of my patients have ever complained about me. That is a fact whether anyone wishes to believe it or not. In June 2008, I was administratively erased from the GMC register for non payment of fees.
